- Nottingham Castle - Nottingham
Canal - Dunkirk - Highfields Park - Nottingham University - Wollaton
Park - Bramcote Hills
-
- As you will see from the photographs
the weather was poor with intermittent drizzle mixed with showers
of mainly light rain. The light was particularly poor for photographs
but I have no options but to use them.

-
-
- My starting point to the Robin
hood Way, the gateway to Nottingham Castle
-
- I think the route has changed
from it's initial launch in 1985, the distance has increased
to 110 miles.
-
- The infamous Robin Hood outside
the castle
-
- Just down the road we pass
the oldest Inn in England Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem
-
- The route follows the canal
giving a very different view of the centre of Nottingham. Raindrops
clearly visible in the water, and umbreallas in use.
-
- Leaving the canal the route
enters a very quiet and peaceful University Park
-
- Numerous squirrels approaching,
hoping for food to help them through the winter
-
- Further down University Park
with the trees just beginning to shed their leaves
-
- Wollaton Hall from the golf
course.
