- No rain
for a change just misty and with a cold NW wind. The sun clearing
some of the mist later in the day.

- Most
of the leaves have now fallen, fortunately there has been little
rain recently so the paths are firm and not too muddy.

- In
some places a carpet of leaves reminding us that we are in the
Winter months. The cold wind also making itself felt. This wood
to the rear of Newstead Abbey

multitude of signs and notices at Theives Wood

- This
stone sits at the side of the A60 towards Mansfield. A sad end
to a young life.

- As
the sun tried to burn off the mist there were some nice shots
looking into the sun.

- More
shots through the mist towards the sun, which although near the
shortest dayprovided some warmth.

- Nearing
the end and a welcome site to sit and take in the hazy sunshine.
